Toni-Cara Stellitano, LCSW, CIMHP, is a trauma-informed psychotherapist, artist, and writer specializing in expressive arts, integrative and nutritional mental health. She holds advanced training in Family Systems Work, Child Development, Trauma-Informed Creative Arts Therapy and Integrative Mental Health, blending evidence-based psychotherapy with creative, holistic approaches that support deep and lasting healing.
After experiencing a neurological illness that temporarily affected the use of her dominant hand, Toni-Cara discovered the neuro-science behind the transformative power of art. What began as drawing with her left hand out of necessity became a profound reminder that healing often begins where words end—a realization that continues to shape her work with clients today.
Her writing has appeared in Creations Magazine, her poetry has been published in the Bards Annual Poetry Anthology, and her work has been featured in Social Work with Groups and national expressive arts exhibitions. She works with children, teens, and adults, helping them reconnect with themselves through creativity, nervous system regulation, and compassionate, evidence-based care.
She is licensed in New York and New Mexico.
