I have a Master of Arts in Counseling from Eastern New Mexico University, graduated 2023. Since then, I have developed a clinical identity using a strengths-based, compassion-focused psychodynamic approach in therapy. I have also completed basic EMDR training and can offer this service as needed. My therapy space, though entirely telehealth, is client-centered and full of compassion.
My therapeutic approach best serves those with traumatic past events, mood disorder symptoms (such as depression and anxiety), and self-esteem/shame issues. It is part of my life philosophy to practice unconditional positively-oriented, non-judgmental regard, no matter what a client brings to session or who they are. Therefore, I am happy to work with all cultures, identities, and personal histories.
I am also someone with a wide variety of lived experience overcoming trauma, living with disability, regulating mood disorder symptoms, and rebuilding self-care and self-esteem. I’m passionate about using my lived experience and education to assist people in the community in achieving their therapeutic goals and mental health wellness! Let me know how I can help you.
